One-pot terminal alkene homologation using a tandem olefin cross-metathesis/allylic carbonate reduction sequence

A one-carbon of terminal alkenes has been developed utilizing an olefin cross-metathesis followed by a palladium-mediated allylic carbonate reduction.

Catalytic Asymmetric Diamination of Conjugated Dienes and Triene

A catalytic asymmetric for a variety of conjugated dienes and triene has been effectively achieved using di-tert-butyldiaziridinone as nitrogen source with a catalyst generated from Pd2(dba)3 and tetramethylpiperidine-derived phosphorus amidite ligand, giving diamination products in good yields with high regio-, diastereo-, and enantioselectivities.
